01 — the studio

A study in restraint, material and the art of living well.

George Charles Studio is an interior and architectural design practice founded by Lorri Brunacini Jones.

Guided by European restraint and natural materials, the studio layers organic textures, quiet architecture, aged surfaces and collected objects with intention. At the heart of the work is juxtaposition—old against new, primitive against polished, softness against structure. Each home is approached as its own composition, shaped by proportion, light, material and the people who inhabit it.

A Lifelong Instinct

Lorri’s relationship with design began early, rooted in an instinct for proportion, material and the way individual elements come together.

That instinct eventually led to a European home studio and, naturally, to interiors and architectural design. Today, her work moves fluidly between architecture and interiors—considering cabinetry, lighting, materials, furnishings and objects as parts of a whole.

George Charles

A name with a history.

George Charles is the name of Lorri's father—a builder and entrepreneur whose approach to life left an enduring impression. His work ethic was matched by a genuine passion for people and the relationships formed along the way.

George Charles Studio carries that philosophy forward through an emphasis on collaboration, craftsmanship and a deeply personal approach to creating a home.

The name is both an homage and a continuation.

Founder + Principal

Lorri Brunacini Jones

Lorri approaches design with an intuitive eye and an appreciation for restraint. Her work is grounded in natural materials, organic texture and the tension created when seemingly disparate elements are brought together—the old against the new, the primitive against the polished, softness against structure.

Through layering rather than decoration, spaces acquire depth, character and a sense of permanence.

The result is a home that feels collected over time—layered, enduring and deeply personal to the people who live there.
